Have questions for journalists? Join Dallas Morning News reporters during our community office hours

We're partnering with the Dallas Public Library for our office hours series. A couple times a month through the end of the year, reporters and editors will spend half a day at different libraries in North Texas.

Updated November 8 at 3 p.m. with upcoming office hours

A city's newspaper is a window into the heart of its residents. Within the printed and digital pages of The Dallas Morning News are stories about the people and institutions that shape North Texas. Behind those stories are journalists who live here and care deeply about this community.

We are excited to invite you to join our reporters and editors for a series of community office hours around North Texas. We want to meet you in person. We want to answer your questions and hear your stories.

We kicked off at the North Oak Cliff branch in September, where we met approximately 14 residents and received several Curious Texas questions. We also visited the Polk-Wisdom Branch in October where we talked to 18 parents and children.

Our next office hours will be Thursday, Nov. 15  at the Bachman Lake Branch of the Dallas Public Library. Reporter Elvia Limón  will be there from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

These office hours are a continuation of our focus on the North Texas community. That's why we created Curious Texas, a project that lets you tell us what you're most curious about. We use those questions to drive our reporting. So far, you've asked us more than 500 questions and we have published answers to more than 60.

We want to reach readers like you where you are most comfortable. Sometimes that means you'd prefer to text us, which is why we added Curious Texas Texts. (Try it out by texting "DMN" to 214-817-3868.)
