Erik Chafin is the Business Development Manager at Connections for Business where he helps business owners take the burden of IT off their shoulders so they can focus on what most important to them, growing their business.
Before joining Connections for Business, Erik’s career touched all aspects of business development, marketing, PMO best practices, legal technology consulting for mid to large size corporations in the technology, construction and legal industries. Erik has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years and the IT managed services space for over half a decade. He brings a wealth of strategic technical knowledge and helps his clients by road mapping their businesses and leveraging the latest technologies to keep them on track and secure.
Known for his amazing ability to “connect dots” in the business world, Erik has helped clients along with his circle of business colleagues to create opportunity.
Born and raised in Miami, Erik also is in an elite group – 3rd generational native Floridian. While growing up in Florida, Erik received his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Barry University. Erik has also obtained certifications in the areas of Project Management, Business Development & Technology along with being Sandler Sales Silver Certified.
Erik lives in Davie with his wife Diane and their three children. He also volunteers his time coaching youth sports at the local optimist. To relax and decompress, Erik enjoys surfing and getting a few holes in on the links golfing.
